We began in 2006 with a small coffee shop located on the North West side of Indianapolis. Bj built a shop dedicated to examining the craft of coffee, serving and sourcing with intention, and being a welcoming safe space for all. These founding principles lead to establishing a specialty coffee roasting program, with Andy taking the lead in 2009. Starting with only a five pound roaster in the back room of the cafe; grew over time to bringing in a much larger restored 1953 Roure thirty pound roaster. We like to say that the roaster is the oldest member of the team.

For many years our identity was grounded in serving Indianapolis through two retail coffee locations but by 2023 we left that part of our story. We now are small batch roasting business that focuses on sending out fresh roasted beans to our followers and continuing to build wholesale partnerships. We look forward to serving you,
